I've invited everyone I know to see the last installment of the Harry Potter franchise, and this time we are to see it in IMAX. Been a decade now since I first saw HP and the Sorcerer's Stone which incidentally happens to be here in Cebu also.
With all things mystical I have had the constant affinity to identify almost immediately to the characters by JK Rowling. I am those three finding their niche in the world, just wanting to feel that they too belong. I am those three that had grown to appreciate one another and braved all the odds. Yeah what mere muggle like me could wish to identify to the complicated lives by those three.I've been skeptical learning they have split the Deathly Hallows in two parts. I've said that before and I might even have blogged it. 1st part was dragging, well at least for me and I was still dissapointed that there were several elements from the book not tackled. But that was forgivable come the second part. Still it could have been better if the fierce battle between Minerva McGonagall and Severus Snape been given more air time. I have to initiate an applause and was glad the moviegoers follow suit.
And now after the first killing curse by "one who should not be named" finishes its job of killing the "boy who lived" it seems everything was at its end. But wait didn't the "one who should not be named" used the blood of the "boy who lived" which in effect protects him from being hurt by "you know who". Now that's double jeoperdy for you.Always wonder why put Deathly Hallow in all the mix, maybe just to remind us that time immemorial we have always try to avoid the inevitable. Again it's just me.
Will and Grace is gone, Sex in the City is gone and now HP. Wonder what I'll look forward to next time around. Oh I forgot, we still have Breaking Dawn.
